Physical Efficiency Tests (PET)
Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT 1 exam, candidates shall be called for PET Three times the community-wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs/RRCs Railways retain the authority to adjust this ratio as necessary to guarantee a sufficient and reasonable pool of candidates for all advertised positions. Passing the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualified in nature. The criterion for PET is as under:

Document Verification and Empaneling of Candidates
Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates twice the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options.
The additional candidates will be selected to replace those who fail to join the recommended positions or in the event of other special requirements.
In the case where two or more candidates obtain identical marks, their rank will be determined by age, with the older candidate being ranked higher. If candidates share the same age, their names will be listed in alphabetical order from A to Z to break the tie.
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates.
